Check Your Personal Care Products: Marketing Labels Can Be Misleading!

All too frequently, we reach for the first thing we can find to shower or moisturize our body.  Maybe we choose simply by the fragrance without regard or care for the largest organ of the body...the skin.  Think about it, our skin is constantly exposed to the sun, pollutants, chemicals and it's affected by what we eat.  Yet, many believe that their skin will remain supple, youthful and glowing forever...not true!

WARNING: Marketing copy on labels can be misleading.

It's important to look at the ingredient deck and not just the front label of a product.  The marketing label may say the product contains essential oils, shea butter or another ingredient that you're looking for, but it does not mean that the product contains enough of "that ingredient" to actually be of any good for you.  So, here's a tip. Check that the positioning of the ingredient on the back deck is in the first one-third of the list.  The closer to the beginning of the list the better.

Give your skin natural goodness and it will thank you for SHOWING IT SOME LOVE!
